We organise a range of events throughout the year:
Guided
Walks
These
take place on the Common throughout the year and are usually led by our
knowledgeable volunteers.
We hope to have a Fungus Foray in October; details soon.
Annual General Meeting
We
organise an Annual General Meeting at which the Chairman presents an
overview of the previous years activities. The 2008 AGM took place
on
Tuesday 22nd April at 8.00pm at Christ Church Hall, Christchurch Road,
Epsom.
We organise two talks a year by local naturalists, usually in the Spring, at the AGM, and in the Autumn.
Our Autumn Talk will be held on Tuesday 18th November 2008 at 8.00pm at Christ Church Hall, Christchurch Road, Epsom. There will be an illustrated talk on The Social History of Epsom Common. (The proposed talk on Otters in Surrey has been postponed).
